Inside the Chancay District

• The Roundabout

The city of Chancay was called Villa Armedo, the capital of Chancay District. It is a town with a lot of traditions and its beautiful “Plaza de Armas” is the second large in Peru for all it extension.

         - THE "PLAZA DE ARMAS"

                  It is considerated a historical square not only for its events that happened here.
                  It has the Cannon and de Anchor, they semain us the Chilean ship, “The Covadonga”.

• The Mother Church

It has the image of the Virgen of Sorrows. It is said that she seen above the sea and she helps all the fishermen in their daily activities.
